Want a unique, chic and functional bag? The Farfalla has you covered.  Zippers on the straps allow this backpack to easily convert to a sling.  The "butterfly" type flap has a zipper pocket underneath for easy access items and the zipper pocket on the back is large enough for most cell phones.  The bag closes with the strap in a unique way that will fend off pick pocketers as it holds the bag closed very tightly as you wear it.  The front button is a window of opportunity for creativity.  Make a leather or faux leather button, use the large unique button you have been saving for that special something, or purchase a large wooden toggle button from our website.  In addition to the features mentioned above, the bag also has an oval bottom, interior card slots and an interior slip pocket. Construction is rated intermediate and the final bag measurements are 8.75"W x 12"H x 5.5"D.   
 
Materials
Faux or genuine leather, vinyl, cotton, or cotton canvas can be used to construct this bag. The bag can be made in all one fabric, or you can use a contrast fabric for the straps and handles. The softer the textile the better to allow the bag to fold and close properly. Waterproof canvas, cotton, linen, or other similar materials of your choice can be used for the interior lining.  If using cotton or linen for the lining, the pieces will need to be backed with woven interfacing like SF101, Wovenfuse or other similar weight interfacing. Decovil Light, foam or fleece can be used as stabilizer. A heavier stabilizer like Decovil Heavy or Peltex should be used to stabilize the bottom.
